Gynecomastia Correction is a cosmetic procedure aimed at reducing extra male breast tissue that may often be present with no obvious cause. It is most effectively done through a combination of power Liposuction and direct removal of the extra tissue. Liposuction alone is an ineffective method for dealing with this problem unless very mild.

Extra fatty or breast tissue on male chest
1.5 - 2 hours | |
Under a general anaesthetic power liposuction is first used to remove as much of the fatty or excessive breast tissue as possible. Then depending on whether extra skin has to be removed or not, an incision is made to allow direct excision of the remainder of the extra tissue that is impossible to be removed by liposuction. Usually the incision is just in the lower half of the areola (dark skin around nipple) but if there is a large amount of extra skin, larger incisions may be needed.
Home for 5-7 days. No exercise or heavy lifting for 4-6 weeks. Significant swelling and bruising for 2-3 weeks Mild swelling for 2-6 months Final results in 6-12 months |
|
Improved appearance and masculinity of chest. Little or no fatty breast tissue in front of the pectoral muscle.
Infection, bleeding, scarring Decreased nipple sensation, contour abnormalities, and redundant loose skin |
